This garnet colour wine offers a bouquet of currant, spice, and sweet oak accented by hints of herbal tobacco and eucalyptus. The soft yet drying tannins give the wine good mouth-feel, and flavours of black currant, cherry and spice fill the mouth and linger on the finish. Serve with one year old aged cheddar with walnut breads; grilled red meats; beef on a bun; pot roast; beef brisket; cold beef wraps; lamb kebobs; or grilled Portobello mushrooms.
