Clear and bright with a deep straw yellow hue, and a bouquet of ripe red apple and tropical fruit perfectly balanced by toasty oak, caramel and buttery grilled corn. Medium-bodied, rich and flavourful. The wonderful mouth-feel is complemented by flavours of baked apple, melon, cream, oak and spice. This richer style of Chardonnay lingers with notes of grilled lemon, mineral, spice and oak. Serve with roasted chicken; pork chops grilled with a tarragon and Dijon sauce; buttery potato dishes; cream sauces on seafood, chicken, pasta or pork; smoked salmon risotto; mushroom risotto; salmon quiche; vodka cream sauce pasta; chicken pot pies; turkey with mushroom bread stuffing; creamy brie on baguette.
